Confused about the origins of WW1?


This Horrible Histories video will make the origins of World War One as clear as ... um .. mud.

How the war started is also covered really well in the main part of The Great War Exhibition, though not in such a humorous manner.

    +1 for Horrible Histories, I've still got most of the books squirreled away somewhere!

    For anyone interested in reading more about how WWI came to be, I strongly recommend Christopher Clark's 'The Sleepwalkers' and Margaret MacMillan's 'The War that Ended Peace'.
